Solidarity statement of EEK to the fired workers of Bosch

The Workers Revolutionary Party – Trotskyists (EEK – Greek section of the Coordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International), expresses its unanimous and total support to the three workers of Bosch’s subsidiary, Rexroth, who where fired with ridiculous management excuses, but in reality for their militant union actions. The three workers, members of the United Metalworkers Syndicate (Birleşik Metal-İs), had camped opposite of the headquarters of BOSCH in Maslak since the 2nd of April, demanding their reinstatement. On the 8th of May they moved outside of the parliament in Ankara. By their side in the evening of the 1st of May where members of EEK, together with our comrades of DİP (Turkish section of the Coordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International), conveying the message of internationalist solidarity from the other side of the Aegean.

The capitalist colossal multinationals like BOSCH, are attempting to finish of every syndicalistic freedom, emboldened by their cooperation with sold out bureaucratic union leaders, like those of the “official” Türk-Metal, and also by the authoritarianism of the Turkish State and the Erdoğan government, that suppresses every independent workers’ action. The Turkish working class experienced a sample of this oppression at Taxim Square, during the annual demonstration of the 1st of May.

The infringement of the workers’ and syndicalist rights by the employers goes hand in hand with the intensification of the violence of the bourgeois state. They will expand evermore as the bankruptcy of the capitalist system deepens and it’s deadlocks pile up. The Arab Revolution, just a few nautical miles south of Greece and Turkey, was a definite warning for the international bourgeois class. The events of Cyprus where a definite warning to the workers in every country of Europe that as long as we stay in capitalism our future will be full of hardships and tragedies.

We raise our left fist to the sky, sending our revolutionary greetings on behalf of the workers of Greece! Victory to the Turkish workers of BOSCH!

The only path for the workers of Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Europe, Middle East and the whole world is the revolutionary internationalist struggle for the overthrow of capitalism! To crush every Imperialism! For the United Socialist States of Europe and the whole world!

Realising that this perspective is not only possible but also necessary, the Coordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International proceeds to the organisation of an Euromediterranean Convention on the 9th and 10th of June 2013 in Athens, aspiring to attract and unite every struggling militant section of the proletariat in the general region; from the revolutionary Middle East to the countries of Europe, Russia, etc.

Workers of the world unite!
